At our family-owned vineyard here, we carefully cultivate Riesling grapes and transform them into our famous Eden Valley Riesling wine. Each of our Eden Valley Rieslings has its own unique flavour, so there’s sure to be something to suit your particular taste. Not to be outdone, we also feature a Clare Valley Riesling, another area in South Australia well-known for Riesling grapes.

Is Riesling considered a sweet wine?
Riesling white wine can be both dry and sweet. Generally, Riesling is seen as a sweet white wine. It is not as sweet as moscato, but it is usually sweeter than a Chardonnay or a Sauvignon Blanc. Riesling grapes have high acidity compared to other grapes, and this is what gives Riesling its wonderfully fresh, crisp flavour. However, to balance out this acidity, the fermentation is often stopped before all the sugars in the wine have been turned into alcohol — thus creating a wine that is slightly sweet.
